Los Angeles Chargers Draft Ladd McConkey
The Chargers traded up with the Patriots to begin Round 2 and took Georgia wide receiver Ladd McConkey with the No. 34 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft on Friday night. McConkey won the Wuerffel Trophy this past year, which honors the player "who best combines exemplary community service with athletic and academic achievement."

The 2023 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team member and Campbell Trophy finalist has volunteered for a myriad of charities throughout his Bulldog career. McConkey also graduated with a 3.8 GPA in Finance in just three years from Georgia.
SEC Offensive Player of the Week
Week 9. McConkey continued his return from a back injury and matched his personal bests in both catches (six) and yards (135) and collected his first touchdown of the season during a 43-20 thrashing of Florida. His scoring reception came on a 41-yard strike from Carson Beck to give the Bulldogs a 10-7 edge. McConkey was one of the catalysts of Georgia averaging 7.4 yards per play.

2022 PRO BOWL NOMINIEE
Jerry Jeudy is pegged to make his first Pro Bowl in 2022. Jeudy caught a deep ball thrown by Brett Rypien into the upper-chest area of an opposing defender. Jeudy cared not, swiped it over the defenderโs back and walked into the end zone.
